Flags Unlimited is pleased to offer a full 6' long two piece pole made from aluminum with a ball top. Will never rust or need painting! What makes this pole unique is the top 37" of the pole rotates on ball bearings so the flag always hang free (for use with any flag with grommets or banner with a pole sleeve up to 3'x5'). No need for unfurling tubes! For the easiest and most versatile installation ever, the pole comes with flag fasteners for flying traditional flags with grommets and a swivel ring for banner display. The silver pole is 1" in diameter. Please select one of our 1" brackets if this is a new pole (bracket NOT included with the pole). If you are looking to upgrade your current pole, our Spinning Poles will easily work with your existing 1" bracket!

I was a bit suprised to find this pole not only of better than expected quality, but it also does keep the flag from tangling. We have only had it a couple of months and, although we fly the flag every day, have not had a single time when it was wrapped around the pole. It is, as I mentened, very good quality aluminum and very sturdy. I'd give this item all fifty stars...

I was having trouble with lighter weight flagpoles bending in the wind under the weight of my fairly sturdy flag. This pole is just what I needed. Still light in actual weight but a little larger in diamter and much sturdier than the standard issue flagpole and the spinning no tangle option is fabulous.

Our last tangle-free flagpole lasted about 2 years in frequently windy conditions (before it finally broke in half). Upon initial examination of this product, I believe it will last at least that long, probably longer. If you take the flag down in stormy/windy weather, this flagpole might last forever. As far as the anti-tangle mechanism, it is the standard ball bearings found in other similar flagpoles. The rotation of the pole is smooth, and I don't expect to have problems with this function either. For the money, you cannot go wrong with this product.

I hadn't seen a flag pole like this before, but now I have seen them in some stores. It is great to not have to jump up to untangle the flag from the flag pole! Make sure you get a 1" bracket to hang on your house (it doesn't come with one). We picked one up at the local hardware store. It looks beautiful. My only complaint is the unfurling/spinning part is plastic, but I haven't been able to find one that isn't plastic...it seems to be strong enough though.
