Been flying one of these 24/7 for a few years now (it comes down to make way for the "Stars & Stripes" on July 4th, Memorial Day, etc., and a lighted star at Christmas). The material is light weight but it does the job, and I like the color and big 3x5' size. One lasts about 6+ months before it needs replacing; the color starts to fade slightly after a couple of months, and after a while the fly end edges are the first thing to fray. The metal grommets & light weight canvas hem have survived some very high winds. Pretty good considering its low cost and the constant exposure to the sun, wind, ocean air, etc. I think it's one way to make a visible statement supporting the concept, however idealistic & impossible it might be, of world peace. Surprisingly, people occasionally still stop to compliment me on it.
